The fire protection application covers the entire process of fire protection approval – from application through approval to periodic inspection. The municipalities are connected to the system via extranet, which allows an efficient communication. External departments also have access to information to verify installations.
The Argovian building insurance (AGV) insures buildings in the canton against fire and natural hazards. As part of the planning permission process the AGV grants fire protection approvals. Buildings, installations and infrastructures, where personal security is particularly important, are checked regularly by AGV.
